Solar-to-X Innovation Event: Pioneering a Sustainable Energy Future

On June 4–5, 2024, a two-day Solar-to-X Innovation event, “Harnessing Renewables for a Sustainable Future – Exploring CCU, Power-to-X, and Solar-to-X Innovations” took place in Genk, Belgium. Co-organized in collaboration with the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency (EISMEA), imec, EuroTech Universities Alliance, and EU projects CATART, and FlowPhotoChem, the event brought together over 130 delegates from Europe and the US.

Attendees included academics, start-ups, industry leaders, policymakers, and investors, all eager to explore the latest advancements in renewable energy and sustainable technology. The event showcased a comprehensive program of talks, panels, pitches, and open discussions, covering the journey of innovation from groundbreaking research to scalable technologies and their integration into energy systems.
