First External Advisory Board Meeting

The first meeting with the CONDOR External Advisory Board (EAB) members was organised on 27th of May. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation and the related travel restrictions, the meeting was held digitally.

At the beginning of the meeting, Prof. Paola Ceroni,  Department of Chemistry “Giacomo Ciamician” at the University of Bologna and also coordinator of CONDOR project, presented the project overview, goals as well as the achieved progress. During the meeting, the EAB members got the opportunity to get valuable insights for the project’s future work. While the CONDOR project is still only in a very early stage at the moment, it was clear to all involved the potential of the technology being developed, and the impact they will have in the energy sector.

The External Advisory Board has been established for ensuring high visibility and wide participation to the project. The existence of the EAB will increase the Pan-European concept of the project and will provide synergy with European R&D and industrialisation activities. CONDOR has the privileged to have 4 distinguished advisors by our side: Prof. Marc Robert (University of Paris), Dr. Frédéric Chandezon (Deputy coordinator of the SUNERGY initiative, Head of SyMMES laboratory), Sergio Aquenza (Technical Commercial Manager, Techint), Ada Di Stefano (R&D Coordinator, Advanced Technology Solutions S.r.l.).

Despite the successful virtual meeting, we hope that our next meeting will be in person.
