CONDOR will be presented during the IX Ciamician Photochemistry School, 6th – 9th June 2022

On 6th – 9th of June 2022, “IX Ciamician Photochemistry School, From Fundamentals to Applications”, organised by the Photochemical Nanosciences Laboratory of the University of Bologna, will take place.

The event is an established international school addressed to PhD students, PostDocs and scientists with more than 130 participants from all over Europe. The main topics to be discussed concern:

• theoretical aspects of electronic absorption and emission processes, 
• photochemical techniques and stready-state and time-resolved spectroscopic measurements, 
• application of photochemistry in the field of organic reactions, bioimaging, molecular machines, solar energy conversion and medicine.

During the event, some of the consortium partners will illustrate the fundamentals of photoinduced electron transfer processes, photoelectrochemistry and photophysics of semiconductors, as well as the implementation of the CONDOR technology within the framework of solar energy exploitation and mitigation of CO₂ emission.

CONDOR aims at contributing to the overall base knowledge of the scientific community in terms of nanostructured materials, photocatalysts, operando microscopy/spectroscopy and PEC engineering. It will establish a solid basis of knowledge and skills to develop a new sustainable energy technology. To this end, the representatives of the project will have the perfect possibility to raise stakeholders awareness and also to communicate the project’s scope and interact with initiatives and projects in the renewable energy domain and to
